Sam Lacher Named to Indianapolis Business Journal's 2026 "20 in Their Twenties"

Central Indiana Chapter NECA is proud to celebrate our Executive Manager, Sam Lacher, who was recently recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as a 2026 "20 in Their Twenties" honoree.

Each year, the IBJ recognizes 20 professionals in their twenties who are making a meaningful impact across the Indianapolis business community. Honorees represented an array of industries, including pharmaceutical, law, philanthropy, medicine and many, many more. Sam's inclusion on this year's list not only reflects the leadership, initiative, and dedication he brings to our chapter, but is also underscored the impact that the electrical contracting industry has in Indianapolis. Central Indiana Chapter NECA serves the electrical contracting industry and our communities across the state in so many ways, through education, advocacy, and labor relations with our partners at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. It is Sam's ability to lead the chapter's widespread operations, represent its member contractors and IBEW workers and build meaningful connection that led to this recognition. 

A Morning to Remember at the Crane Bay

The honorees were celebrated at an event hosted by the IBJ at the Crane Bay Event Center in downtown Indianapolis. The morning brought together this year's 20 honorees, along with their colleagues, friends, and family for a morning of recognition and celebration.

Keynote: Olivia Weston Chasing Your Potential.        

The event's keynote speaker, Olivia West, delivered a powerful message on unlocking potential that resonated with everyone in the room. Olivia is a passionate keynote speaker, WNBA/NBA in-arena host, and champion for student success and motivation. Through her speaking engagements, she draws on her own experiences to help individuals overcome obstacles, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

Her message was a fitting close to a morning built around recognizing the next generation of Indianapolis leaders.

Central Indiana Chapter NECA couldn't be prouder to see Sam's hard work and leadership recognized on this stage. On behalf of the chapter and its member contractors, congratulations on a well-deserved honor.
