Central Indiana NECA Members Convene in Lake Geneva for Summer Meeting

The Central Indiana Chapter NECA recently welcomed more than 70 members and family guests representing over 15 member contractors to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for our annual Summer Meeting at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. The weekend provided an outstanding opportunity for networking, education, industry discussion, and family-friendly fun.
The event began with a tour of Milwaukee Tool’s headquarters in nearby Brookfield, Wisconsin. Our partners at Milwaukee Tool graciously welcomed our group for an inside look at their history, operations, innovation process, and commitment to the skilled trades. Members experienced firsthand the extensive resources behind one of the industry's leading tool manufacturers and gained valuable insight into how Milwaukee Tool develops solutions by listening to and learning from professionals in the field. The visit also provided an exciting preview of new products and technologies that will continue to support electrical contractors in the years ahead.
Friday evening concluded with a barbecue dinner at the Grand Geneva pavilion, where members and their families enjoyed a beautiful Midwest summer evening. The relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting to reconnect with colleagues, build new relationships and take in the resort’s scenic surroundings.
On Saturday morning, members gathered for the chapter business meeting, which included updates on chapter activities, upcoming events, financial information, and key developments across our divisions. The discussion offered a transparent look at chapter operations while reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines our membership.
The remainder of the day offered a variety of recreational activities. Many attendees participated in a golf scramble at The Highlands Golf Course, complete with longest drive, longest putt, and closest-to-the-pin contests. Others enjoyed horseback riding, archery, or a relaxing afternoon at the spa. The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa provided something for everyone, making it easy for members and their families to enjoy the weekend together.
The meeting concluded Saturday evening with a plated dinner and NECA PAC raffle. Thanks to the generosity of our members, participants had the opportunity to win prizes including an RTIC cooler, Maxfli travel golf bag, Theragun, and Coleman portable grill, while supporting advocacy efforts that help advance the legislative priorities of electrical contractors and the industry workforce.
We extend our sincere thanks to Milwaukee Tool for hosting our group and to the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa for their exceptional hospitality. Most importantly, thank you to our members and their families for joining us. Your engagement and participation continue to make events like our Summer Meeting possible and help strengthen our industry through collaboration, education, and advocacy.
